FBS Secondary School Programme (SSP) prepares students for academic success and professional development. The SSP focuses on developing critical life skills of critical thinking, decision making, problem-solving, and collaboration. Students learn to manage their time, plan their day, take responsibility and be accountable for their commitments. Co-curricular activities allow them to explore new interests and delve deeply into known passions.
The school teacher builds a solid conceptual foundation, and an external practice mentor takes additional sessions on solving topic-related problems.
Training in listening, reading, speaking and writing in English strengthens students’ communication skills in a global world.
Digitally equipped classrooms with a computer, audio-visual lessons, projector and smart board bring the concepts alive through visual learning.
The FBS learning approach focuses on the child’s holistic development, enabling them to meet the curriculum expectations, prepare for higher education, and aspire for careers in their fields of interest.
Trained and qualified teachers engage the students in discussions, collaborative assignments and problem-solving to build a solid foundation in physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology.
Students work on individual and group projects, laboratory experiments, and in-class and outdoor activities to learn through practice, offer peer support and master communication.
Academic and industry experts, including alums, regularly conduct masterclasses bringing knowledge and insights on the latest advancements in the subjects chosen.
Visits to research and higher education institutions in the city, such as IIT, NISER, KIMS, NIFT, etc., enable children to learn about the current trends and practices through observation and interaction.
The FBS Learning App, with video tutorials, tests, and personalised dashboards, allows students blended, self-paced, repeated learning. Students, parents, and teachers will have access to the application. Progressive learning assessment supports continuous academic improvement actions for each student. The feature-rich application has resources for all subjects, which are regularly updated.
