FBS forges and nurtures relationships with parents, alumni and the larger community in the city and nearby villages as a responsible stakeholder in society. These relationships benefit the students by shaping their values, experiences and growth.
FBS values parents as equal partners in ensuring students’ academic, emotional and social development. Open communication and collaboration between teachers and parents make our students feel equally supported at school and home.
Parents attend all the functions at FBS, such as Independence Day or the Annual Science Exhibitions or the Annual Sports Day. They can also visit the school on four Open Days in the year to interact with the teachers to discuss their children’s progress. Parents of Foundation Level students can visit FBS on any Saturday.
We organise special events for parents, such as book readings, parenting sessions, or interactions with child development specialists.

We actively nurture our relationship with the FBS alumni through many activities of the Alumni Cell. The Cell offers a host of services that helps them keep in touch with their batch mates and keep them updated on developments in school.
Alumni contribute to the school’s infrastructure development, scholarships, and awards for deserving students. They visit the school to give talks, take sessions on entrepreneurship or business, or share career advice and experiences with current students.
The flagship alumni event, FBS Reunion, brings everyone together to meet their friends, current students, and teachers.

Community Service is an integral part of the school since its infancy and is one of the foundational principles of the school. The FBS Social Service Club leads the community service initiatives.
Middle and Secondary school students conduct awareness campaigns, non-formal education initiatives, visits to old age homes, orphanages, eco-sustainability drives, etc., to engage with the larger city community. Children, other than participating in outreach programmes, raise funds and collect reusable clothes, cookware, furniture, etc.
Social outreach programmes are planned and coordinated by teachers.
They accompany the children and actively participate in the outreach programmes.
We partner with NGOs, Government Departments, Corporates and Hospitals for various initiatives. Participation gives them opportunities to reach out to the underprivileged inculcating the virtues of empathy, generosity, and a spirit of camaraderie in the students.
