Activity Clubs

The diverse clubs at FBS nurture the unique talents and interests of the students. All club activities are organised between 1.10 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. on Saturdays or holidays.

Literary Club

The club aims to promote reading and writing, keep children informed about current affairs, and an appreciation for the value of literature in life. It organises many activities such as elocution, extempore, debates, group discussions, poetry writing, recitation, short story writing, quiz contests, news reporting in the morning assembly, etc. Another equally important activity taken up by this club is news reporting in the morning assembly.

Health and Wellness Club

The Health and Wellness Club aims to make the students aware of good health and poor habits which lead to ill health. It promotes a healthy lifestyle among students, makes them understand the importance of sanitation and hygiene, and teaches them correct body postures. The club conducts aerobics, yoga, health awareness programmes, medical camps and vaccination drives.

Life Skills Club

Adolescence is a period of rapid development when young people acquire new capacities and face new challenges. The club aims to provide young people with accurate, age-appropriate and culturally relevant information; promotes healthy attitudes and develops skills to respond to real-life situations effectively. The initiatives equip students with the social and interpersonal skills to build self-confidence, encourage critical thinking, foster independence and help people to communicate more effectively.

Arts and Crafts Club

The Arts and Crafts Club is one of the most active clubs in FBS. The club aims to strengthen the student’s latent perceptual, technical and artistic skills. Be it colouring or making miniature statues from clay or sand art, origami or designing a handmade birthday card, several arts and crafts activities at FBS enhance the student’s interest and exploit their artistic potential.

Photography Club

The club aims to motivate students to exhibit their photography and video-making talents. Club activities include photography field trips, sharing information about cameras, conducting photography workshops and classes and organising exhibitions.

Nature & Eco Club

Eco Club seeks to encourage students’ interest in nature and to take the initiative to protect and regenerate the natural environment. The club plays an essential role in keeping the campus plastic free and green. The members participate in all environment regeneration programmes, mainly tree plantation. The club maintains the school garden.

Science Club

Science Club promotes scientific temperament among the students. It encourages, motivates and equips students in science applications and highlights its importance in everyday life. The club organises science exhibitions and field trips to science centres and parks, etc., guides students in preparing charts and models, and disseminates information on the developments in the field of science.

Heritage Club

Heritage Club develops students' appreciation for our heritage and respect for diversity and other cultures. All the students who enrol themselves into the heritage club are encouraged to participate actively in preserving local and natural heritage sites and gain more knowledge about them. Members visit heritage sites and lend a hand in the conservation activities and villages /places known for handicrafts.

Coding Club

The FBS Coding Club develops a love for coding skills among students and keeps them informed of the latest trends. It’s the perfect place for students passionate about programming.

Circuit Club

Students who enjoy designing electronic circuits and IoT devices join this club to start from building circuit boards to solving challenges in electronics.

Robotics Club

Students interested in building manual and automated bots, drones and IoT devices join to explore the wonderful world of robotics.

Social Service Club

The FBS Social Service Club teaches students to serve the economically underprivileged and socially marginalised. The club mobilises the school community to espouse social causes and raises funds to support needy school children, victims of natural disasters and stray animals, etc.

Sports and Games Club

The club opens the world of sports and games to the students, teaching them team spirit and cooperation and ensuring mental and physical fitness. It organises events and competitions.
