Inter-House Games & Sports at Future Bhubaneswar School

FBS held Inter–House Games in July and August. The school conducts the games to develop the spirit of healthy competition among students. They are opportunities to raise students’ self-esteem and self-confidence and develop leadership and teamwork.

The Physical Education (PE) teachers coordinated the events with the House Mentors. Interested students gave their names to their respective House Mentors. The PE Teachers did the first level of selection of players for each house based on their performances. They chose teams of players for various games like Kabaddi, Throw Ball, Hand Ball, and Volley Ball to play in the semi-finals and finals. The PE teachers conducted the games.

The Venus House came out as champions with the highest number of medals. Venus House won the Kabaddi (Senior Boys) and Throw Ball (Senior Girls) match and got the runners-up for Throw Ball (Junior Girls).

Neptune House, Mercury House and Jupiter House won the second, third and fourth positions, respectively.

“We had a great experience playing the game. We made it to the finals in the Volleyball match and won. In Kabaddi, we got eliminated in the first round because we were little aggressive in the game and due to technical error our opponent team won points. We lost the match but we gave our best.“
