On July 6, 2024, SPARC organized a Poster Making competition themed “Green Landscape Development in India” as part of Van Mahotsav 2024, inviting students from classes VIII-X. The event, held at SPARC Headquarters, Infocity, Bhubaneswar, saw participation from prominent schools including DAV Chandrasekharpur, SAI International School, and Future Bhubaneswar School (FBS).

A total of 9-10 students from each school formed groups of 2-3 participants each. Over the course of three hours, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., students created posters and presented their ideas and thoughts behind them. The competition concluded with an award ceremony where FBS students RB Rudrax Moharana, Suchismita Sahoo, and Reehana Parinika from Class VIII secured the third position.

At the award ceremony, held immediately after the competition, FBS students were awarded a cash prize of 2000/-, certificates, and saplings in honour of Van Mahotsav. All participants were recognized with certificates and received a sapling, symbolizing their commitment to environmental conservation.

This achievement highlights FBS’s commitment to nurturing creativity and environmental awareness among its students, encouraging them to contribute positively to society through initiatives like Van Mahotsav.
