FBS organises Capacity Building Programme on Life Skills (Basic)
Future Bhubaneswar School hosted Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on Life Skills (Basic), organized by the Centre of Excellence (CoE), CBSE, Bhubaneswar on May 18, 2024, This one-day event brought together 48 enthusiastic teachers from 12 schools across the city, all eager to enhance their pedagogical toolkit.
Principal, Mathew Thomas, inaugurated the programme. The esteemed resource persons, Ms. Rakhi Maitri and Ms. Laxmibati Das, curated a series of engaging sessions that seamlessly blended theory with practical applications.
Through a variety of interactive activities, including role-plays and skits, the participants delved into the core concepts of basic life skills education. Ms. Maitri and Ms. Das adeptly guided the teachers through individual and group exercises, fostering a collaborative learning environment where insights were shared and perspectives expanded.
The programme’s overarching goal was to equip educators with the tools and strategies necessary to integrate life skills seamlessly into their teaching practices. By the day’s end, participants emerged with new found confidence and clarity, ready to empower their students with the essential life skills needed for success in today’s dynamic world.
Among the attendees were 29 teachers from Future Bhubaneswar School. The CBP will definitely serve as a catalyst for professional growth, inspiring educators to champion the holistic development of their students through the cultivation of essential life skills. The teachers carried with them a renewed sense of purpose and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of confident, capable individuals.
