FBS organized a talk series on ‘Entrepreneurship’ by experts from 15 – 16 November. The objective was to ignite the young inquisitive minds and unlock their true potential.

The first speaker, Mr. Abhijit Sen, Founder and CEO of Syllogistek Systems Private Limited and also Director of GLEE Academy discussed about the various skills required to become an entrepreneur. He also spoke about the 21st century skills and the various career options which are available today.

Dr. Mahendra P. Agasty, the key person behind the establishment of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar (SiliconTech) was the second speaker. Dr. Agasty who also leads the Incubation center at SiliconTech, encouraged the students to start with thinking about solutions to small social and environmental problems at school or at home.

Mr. Sanjay Pattnaik, a business leader and co-founder of a consulting company named ‘People Better’ discussed about the activities that FBS would be doing in order to nurture the entrepreneurial thinking of the students. This would expose the students to new career paths and teach them valuable life skills.

More than 100 students actively participated in this session. They had a number of queries which was patiently answered by the speakers.
