Tiny Skaters, Big Victories: Riddit Singh and Sukruti Mishra of Future Bhubaneswar School Shine at Odisha State Speed Skating Championship
Future Bhubaneswar School (FBS) celebrated two incredible achievements at the 2nd Odisha State Speed Skating Championship held at Budha Jayanti Park, Bhubaneswar, on 14th December 2025, with two of its young skaters, Riddit Singh and Sukruti Mishra, making their mark in the competitive skating arena.
Riddit Singh, a Class 2 student of FBS, delivered an outstanding performance, clinching a Gold medal in the 1000 m event and a Silver medal in the 400 m event. His skill and determination were evident as he outpaced competitors to secure top spots in both events. Riddit’s remarkable achievements earned him a coveted spot in the 25th SSFI National Meet, marking a major milestone in his promising sporting career. His success is a testament to his dedication, discipline, and consistent training, bringing immense pride to Future Bhubaneswar School, his family, and the local sporting community.
On the same day, Sukruti Mishra, a Class 1B student of FBS, made a sensational splash at the championship by securing two Gold medals. Competing in the Speed Inline category, Sukruti showcased exceptional skill and determination, winning Gold in the 400 m and Gold in the 200 m events. Her stellar performance at such a young age drew praise from coaches, officials, and spectators alike. Sukruti’s double victory highlights her hard work and passion for skating, bringing great honor to Future Bhubaneswar School.
