FBS hosted the farewell ceremony for the Class 12, graduating batch of 2022- 23 at its campus on 24 March 2023.

This event was held to bid farewell to the senior most students of the school as they step out into the world outside from the sheltered ambiance of the school.

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Vice Principal and senior teachers. Ayush Das and Smruti P. Pradhan from Class 11 conjointly gave the welcome address. Thereafter, the Principal and the Vice-Principal addressed the students. The Principal, Mr Mathew Thomas advised the outgoing students to hold aloft the virtues of honesty and sympathy in life. The Vice-Principal, Ms Nita Patnaik wished the outgoing batch the best in life and promised to be there for them in need. Senior teachers also addressed the students and encouraged them to work hard to achieve their goals and steadfastly stick to the ethos of their alma mater wherever they be.

A lively game of dares anchored by Anwesha Das, Rituparna Nayak and Prakruti Swain of Class 11 stole the show. The outgoing Class 12 students shared their experiences and promised to treasure the fond memories of their school days for years to come. A superb dance performance by Class 11 students regaled one and all.

The outgoing students walked the ramp in a sportive spirit and a photo session followed.

The farewell event full of nostalgia, emotions, fun, and excitement concluded with a vote of thanks by Aditya Patra of Class 12.
