Suicide Prevention System Wins Big: FBS Students Shine at Nirman 4.0

A team of students from Future Bhubaneswar School has achieved a remarkable victory at Nirman 4.0, securing first place with their groundbreaking ‘Suicide Prevention System’. The winning team consists of Anamika Ankashayini (Class), Priyansi Mishra (Class 7), and Sai Satyam Das (Class 6), who have demonstrated exceptional creativity and determination in developing a system that can detect and prevent suicidal attempts.

The innovative system utilises a weight sensor and accelerometer to detect unusual movements, triggering an alert system that sends an SMS to authorities and activates a buzzer and LED. This project not only showcases the students’ technical prowess but also highlights the importance of mental health awareness.

The school community is immensely proud of the students’ achievement, which is a testament to their hard work and dedication. This remarkable project has the potential to make a positive impact on society, and Future Bhubaneswar School looks forward to seeing the students’ future endeavours.
