The recently concluded Reliance Foundation Youth Sports Football Tournament witnessed an intense and thrilling journey for Future Bhubaneswar School (FBS), culminating in their well-deserved position as the runners-up. FBS showcased exceptional talent and resilience throughout the tournament, capturing the hearts of fans and establishing themselves as a formidable force in youth football.

FBS embarked on their journey with an impressive performance in the initial knockout matches. In a clash against DAV, Chandrashekharpur, FBS secured a convincing 3-1 victory which propelled them into the quarter-finals. As the tournament progressed, FBS steadily climbed the ladder, and the top four teams emerged for the much-anticipated finals. In semi-final, FBS faced off against DPS, Kalinga in a match that ended in a 1-1 draw. The finals saw FBS locking horns with SAI International School, a formidable opponent. The final score was FBS (5) – SAI (2). It reflected FBS’s dominance, solidifying their place as the runners-up in the prestigious tournament.

Throughout the tournament, individual players notably Swayam Kumar Sethi and Adishankar Sharma from FBS stood out with their stellar performances. Swayam earned the Golden Boot and Golden Ball awards for his remarkable performances. The coaching staff played a pivotal role in fostering a sense of unity and teamwork among the players, creating a cohesive and determined unit that could face any challenge head-on. The collective effort of the team, coupled with individual brilliance, was the key to FBS’s success in the tournament.
